AIRBOAT RIDE AND LUNCH

Below is more information re the April Event.  We do need a date to RSVP by (April 17) to give us the time to make further arrangements if necessary for the airboats.  Right now we have space reserved for 24 members. If more want to ride we will have to make arrangements in advance for more tours.

AIRBOAT RIDE AND LUNCH

RSVP by April 17!!!

 

Member Don Lapierre has made arrangements with All-American Air Boat Tours in Inverness.  George, the owner, has two boats, each seating six people.  This will be a one hour lunch-time tour with 12 members going out onto the water while the other members have lunch at The Cove Pub & Grub.  This is at the same location from where the boats are launched.  When the boats return, the groups will switch places.

The first 24 members to reserve a spot on the airboats 

will be assured a seat. 

After that number we will have a waiting list while we try to arrange additional tours to include those on the list. 

We need to try to have each boat filled with 6 people to keep the cost (because of high fuel price) to $50.00 per person.  George is able to get to places most people can’t imagine and is extremely different than most other rides.

Lunch is not included in the airboat cost.

[Note:   Like the LaPierre’s, Don and Carol have been on this airboat ride and take our company on it.  It is the best.  And the Pub & Grub has delicious food.  ]

 

We will meet at Brownwood at 10AM (behind the medical center) and caravan with our Thunderbirds for a 30-minute ride on Rt 44 to Inverness. For your GPS, the address is:  1242 So. Cove Camp Point, Inverness.

Lunch/boat ride is at 11AM for the first group,  then when the the boats return after the hour tour, the groups will switch places.

RSVPs TO CAROLE MUST BE MADE SEPARATELY FOR  LUNCH AND FOR THE AIRBOAT.  (They are separate businesses located near each other.)
